Fresh or preserved roses: which should you choose?

Posted by on

In short: choose fresh roses if you want the fragrance and freshness of a just-picked flower for a special moment. Choose preserved roses if you want a gift that lasts 3 to 5 years with no care at all.

What are fresh roses?

They are natural roses, picked in Ecuador at the peak of their bloom. In The Florist bouquets they arrive in a box with a built-in watering and insulation system, which keeps them beautiful for 10 to 15 days.

What are preserved roses?

They are natural roses too, also picked in Ecuador. They go through a process in which the sap is replaced with a special liquid. The result is a real rose with a fresh, silky look that lasts 3 to 5 years, as long as it is kept away from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures and humidity.
